Carson's Priorities
Stop Skyrocketing Property Taxes
Families are being crushed by skyrocketing property taxes. Local governments must be held accountable. I will fight for a permanent homestead exemption that freezes your home’s taxable value for school and city taxes—ending runaway tax bills caused by rising assessments. And I will work to exempt seniors from school taxes. They’ve already paid their fair share.
Crack Down on Violent Crime
Violent crime is fueled by repeat offenders—and Georgia’s justice system is failing to stop them. One in four felons reoffend within three years because soft-on-crime policies let them back on the streets. We need justice that sticks: no more get-out-of-jail-free cards, hold liberal prosecutors and judges accountable, fully fund law enforcement, and keep dangerous criminals locked up.
remove woke from schools. Put Parents in Charge of Education
Too many Georgia students graduate unprepared for today’s world. The answer is universal school choice—giving parents the power to decide the best education for their children. Competition drives results in the private sector, and it will in education too, giving kids in failing schools a real chance to succeed. We must also get back to the basics: reading, math, financial literacy, and real-world skills that prepare students for work—not woke agendas.
Slash Government Bureaucracy
In Georgia, it can take months for small business owners or hardworking Georgians to get a professional license. That’s ridiculous. We need to cut government red tape, speed up licensing, and remove barriers that punish taxpayers and hold back job creators. Government should serve the people—not slow them down.
Strengthen Georgia’s Economy
Georgia thrives when businesses succeed and workers prosper. By cutting taxes, reducing regulation, and fostering a pro-growth environment, we can create more jobs, attract investment, and give every Georgian the opportunity to thrive.
